I just updated my iPad to iOS 4.2.1, and I was wandering what the supported printers for AirPrint were?

The one that will work best for you will be the one that has the options that you would like. Cheapest Airprint Printer

what is the cheapest printer made with “airprint” capabilities?

it must have airprint capabilities not to be confused with eprint.

I get asked that question a lot as you might guess, I’ve answered it many times.  However, just cause I’ve answered it before doesn’t diminish the fact that you want to know the answer…  I like typing – can you guess?  OK, you’ve waited long enough.  To find my recent answer to your question, please visit this link: Finding-Airprint-Printers for the iPad.  You asked for the cheapest and that is a relative term.  Seeing how only one company is producing Airprint printers, competition isn’t a factor.  Still though, the printers listed in that post are reasonably priced.  I hope you find one to meet your needs (and pocketbook).

Learn More About Mac Compatible Wireless Printers

What type of printer should I get for a Mac Laptop?

I need a printer that’s compatible for a mac laptop. I’m looking for something wireless and it has to be a color printer and a black/white printer. Also, I’m looking for a printer that can make copies. Any suggestions?

Also, if I get a certain printer do I need to buy something else so it can print wirelessly?

Take a look at either the Epson Artisan or Workforce series – you should be able to find a model among these that will do everything you need it to and suit your budget.

I’ve used epson printers with my mac for years and have found them very reliable, good qualiity and no hassles with them at all.
